175 years of Johs. Boss GmbH & Co. KG - A reason to celebrate!

This year we are celebrating a special anniversary - 175 years of Johs. Boss. Since our company was founded in 1849, quality, innovation and customer satisfaction have been at the centre of our work. This anniversary is not only a milestone in our company history, but also a symbol of the trust placed in us by our customers and partners.

The start of our anniversary began in February with an informal event, with the distribution of anniversary polo shirts to all employees and refreshments from a food truck.

A festive anniversary celebration in mid-June in the Balingen town hall was the highlight of our anniversary year. We celebrated with the entire workforce, their partners and other invited guests.

The evening provided a special opportunity to honour our successes and look confidently towards a jointly shaped future.  The band ‘Südlich von Stuttgart’ provided the musical backdrop for the celebration and created a great atmosphere. Another highlight of the event was the traditional employee performance of the ‘Three Generations Talk’, which offered amusing but also interesting anecdotes from our company history - a wonderful journey into the past of our company.

Our anniversary year came to a cosy end in December with a small in-house celebration. During the meal, photos and films of the anniversary celebration in June took us back to the festive atmosphere.
 
To mark this unique and special occasion this year, we have produced a history book entitled ‘From a mechanical inventor's workshop to a manufacturer of precision tools’, which documents the development of our company over 175 years. In addition to the exciting insights into our history, in correlation with the spirit of the time and world history, it shows how we have always risen to the challenges of the times.
